Sleeping gets Technical
I was shopping for a new contour pillow last night when I found something that is a cross between a pillow and an iPod! It’s called the “Sound Asleep” pillow.
I began to immediately think about how I could listen to podcasts and all the teleclasses that I have on mp3. I also thought about listening to my favourite 80s tunes while lying in bed. Somehow this didn’t sound ideal for lying in bed. When I hear 80s music I start to sing and dance!
My husband, who is not as techie as I am, interrupted my thoughts with a smart way to make use of the “Sound Asleep” pillow. He said “Oh! It’s probably for listening therapeutic sounds to help you fall asleep.” “Oh, you mean like ocean waves or birds chirping in the amazon!…That’s not what I was thinking!”, I replied.
So do I have a problem relaxing or do I just associate the iPod with podcasts, teleclasses and danceable music only? What would you use the “Sound Asleep” pillow for?
