Shorten Those Long URLs
I bet you have had to send a long website address to someone via email. Perhaps the link was too long and by the time the receipient tried to click on it, the link had broken (split over 2 or more lines). So what can you do?
Take that link and shorten it.
- Go to www.snipurl.com
- Copy the long url into the “long url” field
- On the right you’ll see “nickname”. Here you can specify what you want the link’s nickname to be such as http://www.snipurl.com/coach, where “coach” is the nickname. This makes it easier for you to remember the link if you ever had to reuse it.
- Click snip it.
- On the next page your new snipurl will be created, copy it and use it.
Happy sniping!

Hey Sandra,
Great tip! And people can also sign-up for a free account with Snipurl and save all of your snipped URL’s in case you want to use them again. I keep all of my affiliate links in there and it’s really handy.
Just make sure to give your links a name or description that will make it easy and quick to find them again later.
Hope you’re having fun on your camping trip!
Linda
