If you ever need to do a background check on someone or you just want to see what information is out there about you check out www.pipl.com. This awesome search engine will search for a person based on their name and location in the world as well as just their name. Of course you can just “Google” a name but Pipl searches deep into databases to find member directories, personal profiles, publications and even court records (oh my!).

If you are looking for a free keyword search tool that is not inventory.overture.com (let’s face it, it’s slow, it’s a busy website and so it’s hard to get on the site in the first place and the results are based on data from 13 months ago.)
So here’s a free keyword search tool brought to you by our friends at Google!
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
You have two options:
1) enter the words or phrases that you want new keyword ideas for
2) enter your website address to see what Google thinks are your keywords
Enter the words/website on the right and click “get keywords ideas”.
What will appear is what Google suggests for those words/websites.
How do you use these results?
If you used option #1 then you will want to scan through the keywords and see which ones are high in the columns “Avg Search Volume” (average search for the past 12 months) and January Search Volume (the results for searches in the previous month). Use these keywords, only if they are relevant, in your blog and website for increased traffic…give people what they want and are searching for right? Create blog postings around these keywords.
If you used option #2, consider what Google thinks are your keywords. If they are the keywords and terms that your ideal client would use to find you (ie. they are relevant to what you do or offer) then you are rocking and rolling. If they are not, then take a look at your website/blog copy and see what needs to be changed so that your ideal keywords (see option #1) are noticed by Google.

I almost always get asked “Sandra where do you get the cool pictures you use on your www.HelpDeskForCoaches.com site? Did you create them yourself? Or did you buy them, and if so, does it cost you a fortune?”
I wish I was a great photographer! I was a great artist until I was in my teens when I left my love for drawing for my new love math and computers…who does that? hee hee.
Anyhow, I get my photos at a low cost, approximately $1 per photo, at istockphoto.com. Photos range from $1 upto $20 depending on the size you choose. But the good news is that you only need the $1 photos for your website, ebooks, blogs etc. The $1/1 credit size is noted as xsmall, but it’s xsmall only if you mean to print it and put it up on your wall. It’s the perfect size for your web content. In fact you might want to resize it and make it smaller for your web content.

1ShoppingCart.com is increasing their rates starting December 1st (that’s this Saturday). Although I don’t agree with the huge increase and the short notice that was given to their clients, there aren’t too many choices out there. So how can you make your shopping cart more affordable? There are a few options, but I’d like to turn your attention to a simple thing you can do, by Friday, to save up to $389. You see, the current prices are still available until Friday and if you purchase a year ahead of time you get 2 months free. For example, the Pro Package is $79 per month or $799 for a year. As of December 1st the price increase to $99 per month or $999 for the year. So if you purchase a year’s worth before the price goes up you will save $389 (if you continued to pay monthly). I know it’s an investment for now but it will workout in the long run. Because 1ShoppingCart is American you can take advantage of the low US dollar and get a further discount if you live outside of the United States.
How to do it:
1. Log into your shopping cart.
2. Locate "My Account" in the menu bar and choose
"Renew/Upgrade"

3. Under "Select a Service or Third Party Integration"
locate "package" and choose the "annual package" such as
"Professional Annual $799"

4. Fill in your payment information under "Credit Card Payment
Information" and process your order.
There you
go, you are all set.

Do you have a question you need to ask the world or just your target market? There are two great websites which allow users to post questions, answer questions and connect. They are:
Yahoo! Answers: http://answers.yahoo.com
Askville by Amazon: http://askville.com
What can you ask? Anything really, but here are some sample questions that I think are applicable to Coaches:
"What was your first job out of school and how was it related to what your area of study?"
"What is the most powerful but under-appreciated way we can shape the future?"
"Life coach running or "ruining" life?"
"Business Coach – would you use one?"
