    Sandra

Covers D and E work best for me and I cannot decide between them at the moment.

I prefer B. The money’s in the wallet not floating out to outer space.

  • 3. Elizabeth M. Johnson  |  April 22nd, 2008 at 12:26 pm

They are all terrific but I love “B” the best!

  • 4. John Herman  |  April 22nd, 2008 at 12:56 pm

    Cover B

  • 5. Tracy Ostermeier  |  April 22nd, 2008 at 1:22 pm

    Cover B is fabulous!

C is best to me. But keep the cashola in the wallet!

  • 7. Marion  |  April 22nd, 2008 at 1:40 pm

Cover D is my favourite, visually, but I think it needs to be B, because of the book title.

    Great title!

    B all the way!!
    :)

  • 9. Alex  |  April 22nd, 2008 at 8:19 pm

B conveys it all, and keeps the moolah close to the heart. Go Sandra! :)

    B – definitely

  • 11. Annie  |  April 23rd, 2008 at 12:45 am

    It’s a big Fat B for me Sandra :)

  • 12. Marcia, Organising Queen  |  April 23rd, 2008 at 3:38 am

Absolutely C – it is much more visually appealing than all the others

  • 13. Elizabeth Ellis, Whole Life Coach.com  |  April 24th, 2008 at 12:11 am

    B is the one!
Bulging wallet communicates what you want.
Are those canadian dollars? I’d make the US dollars, but the visual is clear and effective.
    Nice work!!

  • 14. Rosalyn  |  April 24th, 2008 at 6:07 am

Cover C, looks fresh and focuses on the computer more and money less.

  • 15. Gill Yates  |  April 24th, 2008 at 6:38 am

    Hi Sandra,
    I like cover E best

  • 16. Jerry Pinney  |  April 24th, 2008 at 6:50 am

    My Vote is for A

  • 17. Kirsten  |  April 24th, 2008 at 8:17 am

Cover B feels more real to me and looks professional.

  • 18. Stephanie Yost Mentzell  |  April 24th, 2008 at 8:32 am

Definitely Cover B is most professional while still capturing your uniqueness and branding at the bottom. I’d be more likely to want to have that book in my hands than the others. Good luck Sandra and HUGE congratulations!

Cover B jumps out. I voted for the one with the immediate hit without rationalizing or thinking about it much, because that’s what will happen in the bookstore. I notice my eye goes right to the word Blogsite and energetically it has the most powerful zowee! impact.

  • 20. Kim Barnwell  |  April 24th, 2008 at 9:32 am

I like B the best. In C to E – the money could be coming or going…. B feels and looks more like making money.

  • 21. kimberley  |  April 24th, 2008 at 9:45 am

    B is best for me….

  • 22. Jennifer  |  April 24th, 2008 at 10:41 am

I like B too but I would change the $$$ from Canadian to a generic or cartoon representation of money so everyone can relate and I also like the color palette of C better. Looking forward to reading this!!

  • 23. Sue  |  April 24th, 2008 at 11:34 am

I liked A as it has the Wordpress logo on the wallet – though the wallet could be ‘fatter.’ ;)

B looks like it has Canadian dollars hanging out. You may not want the country of the currency to be obvious – as the book is for anyone from anywhere. Americans, for instance, may get a subconscious sense that the book is for Canadians.

  • 24. Katherine M. Jones MSPH  |  April 24th, 2008 at 11:40 am

I like E, but with the money in the wallet, as the money can be flying OUT too. I also would like to see the little figure of you by your name, like on A and B. I like the computer image too. I do think the title would be better without the “look”, simply “Does this blogsite make my wallet fat?” Something about the “look” makes it seem only imaginary, like appear to be fat but not. Good luck.

  • 25. Stephen  |  April 24th, 2008 at 12:14 pm

I agree with the people who commented on the money in C-E looking like it could be coming or going. Between A and B, I like that B looks more professional – the wallet in A looks more like a promotion for Wordpress rather than a way to use Wordpress for you own promotion. So, I go with the others who voted for B.

  • 26. Deborah  |  April 24th, 2008 at 12:25 pm

Who is your target audience? Men? Women? Both?

If men, then A with a different wallet, no W, more upscale, to indicate real money is flowing in.

If women, then B with money that looks real and is identifiable, without the W on the wallet.

If both, then C or D, the most pleasing design to my eye, with the character holding a wallet overflowing with money to explain the floating away or spilling over of money.

Great marketing idea to ask others for their opinion. Effective and inspiring! May your book’s title be prophetic and provide you with a wallet bursting at the seams.

Thank you everyone for taking time to give me your fabulous feedback! Please keep it coming!

    Thank you,
    Sandra

Cover B. I totally lose the title of the book on Covers C, D, and E. And I think the wallet makes a more poignant focal point than a random laptop.

  • 29. Andrea  |  April 25th, 2008 at 11:55 pm

Cover C! It’s fun and fresh.
The bright cover draws my eye and the cartoon quality makes it look accessible:)

  • 30. Kathy Santini  |  April 26th, 2008 at 2:42 pm

B for sure. The money and wallet look real, which increases my interest in the subject.

  • 31. Patty  |  April 29th, 2008 at 10:52 pm

    B

  • 32. Sital  |  May 1st, 2008 at 8:00 pm

    i’d go for B

  • 33. Rita  |  June 23rd, 2009 at 3:16 pm

Definitely it’s B for me! Appeals to me as a woman and I love that the money is IN the expensive looking wallet…making it FAT!!!
