“What are you doing that you shouldn’t be doing?”
All day long I could hear Paul Copcutt‘s voice asking me “What are you doing that I shouldn’t be doing?”
All day long I kept doing things that I shouldn’t have been doing. I didn’t leave the computer (that’s not unusual) but I did search a ton of things on the internet. It was ridiculous.
I was “stuck”. I couldn’t find the right words or information in my brain to finish my 2nd chapter. I owe 2 completed chapters to my coach tomorrow. I told her that if she didn’t get them she could give me a verbal kick in the pants…or I’d fly over to her and she could really kick me in the pants! I think what I need is a break. 1 day of writing, 1 day of no writing, repeat.
I must finish this chapter tomorrow…wish me luck!

Hey Sandra – you are one chapter closer to your goal – well done. And now I see 2 chapters completed – see only 5 to go – keep going! – Paul

I’m also coaching one of my clients to finish her book. And I must admit, I’m a bit of a task master
but hey, she gets her book done quicker, doesn’t she?
She’s on the rewrite of the 2nd draft now and next time we talk (on Saturday) should be done!
